He had to deceive Eve to get Adam (1 Timothy 2:14). We saw that man didn’t fall immediately until Adam ate the fruit from Eve (Genesis 3:6-7). This is because Adam was the one carrying the seed and scepter of dominion. The consequences of sin were immediate in the Garden of Eden; separation from God, shame, and death became part of human existence.

From the beginning of the Bible, there are references to the birth of Jesus. The birth of Jesus on this earth had been well proclaimed by the prophet Isaiah. In reality, the devil knows that a man born in sin cannot save anyone in sin. That is why it will take a holy seed or sinless person from heaven or blood to redeem us from our sin and the dominion of Satan over our lives.
2 Corinthians 5:21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
But God did it. He came in the form of a man from heaven to save us. This was the only way out for us to be saved from our sins.

From the beginning, God had spelled out the penalty of sin, and he did not compromise on it. His standard for it has not changed to date.

- Payment for our sin debt

Jesus, our saviour, had to endure the shame and suffering for us to redeem us from our sins.
